About

Hello! I am Adharsh Sabukumar, a student at Purdue University (main campus) pursuing my masters in Electrical and Computer Engineering. I love programming and I am deeply passionate about research, digital signal processing, automation and building systems which make life easier. I worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Sedai for the past two years. As a member of the core engineering team at SEDAI, I am responsible for building new features and recommendation models for the SEDAI core engine. My area of expertise includes designing end to end machine learning products, data analysis, research understanding, digital signal processing and programming.

A bit About myself

Professional Experience

Sr. Software Engineer

Aug. 2020 - Jul. 2022

SEDAI

  • At Sedai, we are building an autonomous cloud infrastructure management system. We increase and ensure higher service availability by proactive monitoring, modelling past incidents and remediation workflows, improving efficiency and eliminating redundant manual efforts.
  • Developed and delivered features for SEDAI core engine.
  • Notable features implemented: Release Intelligence (patent filed), SLO Tracking, Adaptive Grouping, Remediation workflows for resources, Api integrations etc.
  • Additional repsonsibilities include verifying remediation actions of SEDAI core engine in production environments.

Research Intern

Feb. 2019 - Mar. 2020

Dept. of Electronics Engineering, College of Engineering Trivandrum

  • Worked under Dr. Rajeev Rajan in the study of speech mimicry (an artform in India). Developed a system capable of accurately ranking the performance of professional artists in mimicking a known target voice by using a custom model trained with features extracted from the target speaker's voice.
  • Other areas of study were speaker identification and speaker verification systems

Development Intern

May. 2018 - Sept 2018

Open IoT Dept. International Center for Free and Open Source Software

  • RISC V Development: Wrote libraries for an early stage development board, HiFive 1 rev B from SiFive.
